UPSIDE Back to Upside

Terms of Service

Last updated 30 August 2026

Upside is a custom assistant built and operated by Super Human Systems for a single named user. By using it, you agree to these terms. They are short because the arrangement is simple.

What the service is

Upside ingests material you connect (recordings, calendar, email, documents, and what you tell it), distills it into a private memory, and hands back briefs, prompts, and closed loops in your own voice. It is a private, single-tenant tool provided to you, not a public product with accounts for the general public.

Your account and access

Access is granted to you personally through a private link or sign-in. Keep it to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your access, and for the accuracy and rights of the material you connect, which should be your own or material you are permitted to use.

Connected accounts

When you connect a third-party account, such as Google, Fathom, or Plaud, you authorize Upside to access it only in the ways described at the point of connection and in our Privacy Policy. All email access is read-only. You can disconnect any source at any time, and for Google you can also revoke access from your Google Account security settings.

Acceptable use

Use Upside for your own legitimate work. Do not use it to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to attempt to access data that is not yours. Do not resell or redistribute the service.

The assistant's output

Upside prepares drafts, summaries, and suggestions from your material. It is a tool to speed your judgment, not a replacement for it. Review what it produces before you rely on it, publish it, or act on it. You decide what goes out; nothing is published on your behalf without your action.

Availability and changes

This is an actively developed system. Features may change, pause, or improve as we build alongside you. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may perform maintenance that briefly affects availability.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Super Human Systems is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Your material remains yours throughout.

Ending the arrangement

You may stop using Upside and ask for your data to be deleted at any time. We may suspend access for misuse under these terms. On termination, connected credentials are revoked and, on request, your product data is removed.
